We are building a database of available community resources. CARES is going beyond a basic directory to build an AI-powered platform that matches individuals to the best-fit programs for their specific needs based on program availability across a range of support categories.

By creating local community resource hubs, CARES provides nonprofits and government agencies with information to identify the services and programs most in demand within a region, as well as service gaps for supports that are needed but not met by existing programs.

Our story
From personal experience navigating the challenge of finding the right support services, the Community Alliance of Resources Education and Support (CARES) was founded with a mission to improve community support access.
Our solution to a fragmented, often inequitable system of access is to create technological tools that bring together a wide range of available resources into a single, verified, and easily accessible database.
By analyzing data on the local services most searched for, accessed, matched, and missing within any given community, we can surface opportunities to bring much-needed support services to a region and to track the impact and outcomes for individuals seeking help.
