A Quiet Gem of Compassion in the Heart of Lincoln
St. Vincent de Paul, Lincoln Conference, provides confidential, compassionate assistance to individuals and families throughout communities in Lincoln, Sheridan, Wheatland, and Nicolaus, California. Services include assistance with food, rent, and utilities; household goods; clothing; and referrals to health and housing resources.
Founded in 2003, the organization is supported by dedicated volunteers and generous community donations and sponsorships.
100% of donated funds go directly toward helping those in need.
The Lincoln Conference
Lincoln’s chapter, known as a conference, is located at St. Joseph Church on Oak Tree Lane. More than 80 volunteers generously give their time to provide caring, compassionate, and practical assistance to those in need.
Although many volunteers and donors are members of St. Joseph Catholic Church, St. Vincent de Paul is not religiously based and welcomes everyone, regardless of faith.
The Lincoln Conference also works closely with local community organizations, including The Salt Mine, Feeding the Foothills, and the St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store in Sacramento, helping connect individuals and families with additional resources.
Each conference operates independently from both the local church and the National Society of St. Vincent de Paul. The Lincoln Conference receives no financial support from either organization and relies entirely on private donations and the generosity of the local community.

The home visit provides an opportunity for a caring, confidential assessment of the household’s specific needs.
